Published online, The Journal of Applied Laboratory Medicine (JALM) is an international, peer-reviewed publication showcases applied research on clinically relevant laboratory topics as well as commentary on the practice of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine.

About JALM

With JALM, the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM, formerly AACC) empowers lab professionals to discover new adaptive solutions to patient health problems and drive innovation in the field. JALM expands on the scope of cutting-edge research in Clinical Chemistry by focusing on translational or applied laboratory medicine studies.

JALM considers submissions on laboratory methods, evidence-based laboratory medicine, flow cytometry, management, best practices, appropriate test utilization, critical care, and pediatric testing. Additionally, it provides a forum for discussion of policy and regulatory issues that impact the field.
