Qing H. Meng, PhD, DABCC, FADLM is a professor and section chief of clinical chemistry in the department of laboratory medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and serves as director of the ComACC Training Program. His research centers on tumor biology, tumor biomarkers, cancer diagnostics, and translational research. Dr. Meng has authored more than 180 peer‑reviewed publications, reflecting significant impact in the field of clinical chemistry. Dr. Meng has demonstrated excellence in professional leadership and service. He is the immediate past president of the Academy of Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine, Co‑Editor‑in‑Chief of eJIFCC, and serves on FDA and the CLSI Expert Panel on Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology. His contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the 2021 AACC Academy Award for Outstanding Contributions to Clinical Chemistry in a Selected Area of Research. Dr. Meng’s academic mission is to advance research, outstanding scholarly contributions, and service excellence in laboratory medicine.
