Endocrinology Division

The mission of the Endocrinology Division is to support and advance the relationship of clinical endocrinology with laboratory medicine and patient care. The objectives to fulfill this mission involve collaboration with professional organizations, promoting educational opportunities, and the institution of peer-reviewed resources specific to the mission of the Endocrinology Division. Specific objectives include:

  1. Promote the concepts and contributions of endocrinology to laboratory medicine and patient care.
  2. Serve as a resource for other the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (formerly AACC) entities, programs and publications for issues relating to endocrinology. On behalf of the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM), enhance ADLM’s role in endocrinology by collaborating with external professional endocrinology organizations and other stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate and foster professional development by developing and presenting educational programming on endocrinology within ADLM.
  4. Establish and maintain an endocrinology division that functions as a resource for the clinical and public health communities
